Eclipse Installation Fail

I’m getting the following errors on a fresh install of 2022-06. I tried updating Java to 11.0.15.1 and Maven to 3.8.6. Any pointers would be appreciated.

ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=0 Software being installed: artificial_root 1.0.0.v1657297844992
ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=0 Missing requirement: artificial_root 1.0.0.v1657297844992 requires ‘org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; org.eclipse.mylyn.java_feature.feature.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found

I’m seeing the same error. Anyone have an idea what’s wrong?

This seems to be an incompatibility with the latest Eclipse version. You could try using an older Eclipse version. 2021-12 should work.

I can confirm that both 2021-12 and 2022-03 both work. 2022-06 does not.
