Ecobee Fan API Change?

Hey @mhilbush,

I think the Ecobee API for Fan settings may have changed.

I use to be able to just set FAN to 0 min/hr and it would shut off and visa vera 60 min/hr and turn on. It doesn’t anymore starting this week.

Maybe a new endpoint with Fans?

I’m running OH 5.1.3 using the Ecobee bindng that is built with.

Here’s pics showing the issue and it’s happening on both floors, so not a one-off issue.

The hvac units, after an hour, finally turned off the fans. Something at the ecobee device level has changed.

Hmmm. Not sure.

I don’t fully understand what’s happening. Are you using the channel settings#fanMinOnTime and the fan is never shutting off?

There’s nothing in the Ecobee Change Log that shows any change to the API in many years.

Yup, been this way for years.

I think it was a hiccup with the API that day. It self-corrected after a day.
