Hi all,
i use openhab4 in the latest version and installed the enocean binding. I have a FAM-USB-515 as gateway, but i can not find (discover) any devices. I have some Eltako FL62NP and also a FLD61.
I also tried the software PCT14 of eltako and connected the FAM-USB-515 direct to this pc, but the software do not recognize the gateway.
I also tried to create manuel a thing, with the enocean-id of the device, but on the number printed on the device has 7 numbers, and the openhab thing need 8 numbers. Then a tried to add a 0 at the beginning and also at the end, but nothing happens.
May be someone can give me some hints, what i can do know.
I do not know enocean well, but if you have a serial adapter for your radio, other than supported one, then you need to confirm if its output is same as for other supported dongles.
There might be small differences on the serial output which may cause OH side fail to accquire signal/link.
This is a case for WM-Bus binding I worked on, where three different dongles have different setup options and “wrapping” of radio frame.
Solution:
I bought the license for cuxd EnOcean for HomeMatic ccu3. There it was possible to connect my devices.
My openhab is already connected with HomeMatic, so I can also use the EnOcean devices via cuxd → HomeMatic → openhab.
