When installing Tailscale setup now prompts me to install Exim4. I don’t think it used to do this. Is there a reason this is being prompted for a Tailscale install?
Actually I guess I’m also curious what this does, if anything, that setting up an STMP server does not?
It has been doing that in a long time. I don’t recall the reason at the moment but there is one
Exim IS an SMTP server but there’s many config variants so this is tailored to be compatible with other openHABian components. Read the code when you’re curious.
