Failing Miserably with Synology

Hi all,

I hate my first post being a request for help. But I’m going to dive in anyway…

I’m trying to install OpenHAB on my Synology Nas and no matter what i do i cannot get it running.

I have now for the countless time got to the point of installing the SPK and then downloading and extracting demo content via SSH however I’m still getting the error

“Problem accessing /openhab.app. Reason: Sitemap ‘default’ could not be found”

Any help would be apreciated.

If you do not have the file: default.sitemap in the configurations/sitemap folder you need to provide the name of what ever file is in there in the URL.

For example, if you have a demo.sitemap file the URL would be:

http://<ip>:8080/openhab.app?sitemap=demo

If you have no file in the sitemaps folder at all it no URL will work.
