Is there any way to change the basicUI slider item? - Especially on the ipad’s minis I use for dashboards around the house… When I use the slider item the dot for sliding is very small…

You can use a Setpoint which will provide up/down icons. Beyond that you would need to use a different UI like HABPanel where the UI elements are bigger and allow for more customization.
