Anyone know if its possible to turn off the “ring” of light via a channel in OH? I understand it can be done via a keypress sequence on the plug manually but thought if theres a lazier way, i want it!

As far as I understood, you can set the color depending on status (ON/OFF) consumption (upper limit) and network alarm, but you can’t switch the light independent of the socket itself.
Maybe it’s possible to change configuration “on the fly” through a rule/openHAB REST API, but at least this will not be a simple approach.
With an edit to the ZW DB a channel can be added to the configuration class to change the color with a rule. If you always want if off, parameters 40 and 41 can be set to zero.
