First timer setting up Z-wave

First off, this is my first attempt at home automation. I have purchased a Homeseer SmartStick+ and a few zwave devices to start.

My question is how to get OpenHAB working with the smartstick? I’m running Ubuntu and have openHAB installed via apt-get. I have installed the network and zwave bindings.

I cannot figure out how to tell the zwave binding where my USB smartstick is (/dev/ttyACM0). Most of the documentation I’m finding is for openHABv1. Any pointers would be appreciated.
