Floor Plan markers show state but cannot control MQTT Switches and Dimmers

Hello openHAB community,

I am using openHAB 5.2.0.M4 with MQTT.

All MQTT Things, Channels and Items are working correctly.

What works:

  • MQTT Broker is ONLINE
  • MQTT Channels are ONLINE
  • Items are linked correctly
  • Switches and Dimmers work from Locations page
  • Switches and Dimmers work from Things page
  • State updates correctly

What does not work:

  • Floor Plan page markers display the current state (ON/OFF and Dimmer values)
  • However, clicking the markers on the Floor Plan does not send commands
  • Switches and Dimmers cannot be controlled from the Floor Plan dashboard

Example:
Bedroom2_Light
Thing: ONLINE
Channel: ONLINE
Item: Bedroom2_Light

The same item works perfectly from Locations and Things pages, but not from the Floor Plan marker.

Has anyone experienced this with Floor Plan pages in openHAB 5.2.0.M4?

Could this be a Floor Plan configuration issue or a known bug?

How do your marker definitions look like?
