Description

This binding integrates bluMartin FreeAir 100 ventilation systems with openHAB via the FreeAir Connect cloud service. Monitor your indoor air quality and control your ventilation system directly from openHAB.

Features

Monitoring:

  • Temperature sensors (outdoor, supply, extract, exhaust)

  • Humidity levels (outdoor and extract air)

  • Air quality (CO2 levels, air pressure)

  • Fan speeds and air flow rates

  • Filter status and remaining lifetime

  • Heat recovery efficiency

  • Energy savings calculation

  • Diagnostics (operating hours, error states, WiFi signal)

Control:

  • Comfort level adjustment (1-5)

  • Operation mode selection (Comfort, Sleep, Turbo, Turbo Cool)

Requirements

  • FreeAir 100 device registered at freeair-connect.de

  • openHAB 5.0.x or 5.1.x

  • Java with unlimited cryptography policy enabled (for AES-256 encryption on firmware 2.14+)

Tested Firmware Versions

  • 2.9.0 (AES-128)

  • 2.14.0 (AES-256)

  • 2.22.0 (AES-256)

Installation

  1. Download the JAR for your openHAB version from the GitHub Releases

  2. Copy to your addons folder

  3. Configure via UI or thing file using your FreeAir Connect serial number and password
