I know it isn’t the better place to create topic but We use all home automation systems. At the security level, the management of sms communication is important.
There is a small software which is called gammu and which is no longer maintained (https://github.com/gammu/gammu) .
The creator is looking for people to keep maintained. If a coder is interested, it will be great
