I am having issues with the GE Smart Dimmer 12724. The dimmer turns on at about 25% brightness and will not go any brighter until manually done from the switch. Also, the dimming functionality does not work. The lights can only be turned on or off, no dimming.
Please help!
Here is my following configuration:
Default Items:
Dimmer Light_Living_Room “Living Room [%s %%]” {zwave=“5:command=Switch_Multilevel, restore_last_value=true, refresh_interval=30, respond_to_basic=true”}
Dimmer kitchen_dimmer “kitchen Dimmer [%s %%]” {zwave=“4:command=Switch_Multilevel, restore_last_value=true, refresh_interval=300, respond_to_basic=true”}
DImmer.rules:
import org.openhab.core.library.types.DecimalType
import org.openhab.core.library.types.*
import org.openhab.model.script.actions.*
import org.joda.time.DateTime
var int percent = 0
var Timer fade_Timer = null
rule “Dimmer Light”
if (Light_Living_Room.state instanceof DecimalType) {
percent = ((Light_Living_Room.state as DecimalType)/5).intValue * 5 //round to 5
fade_Timer = createTimer(now.plusMillis800)) [|
Light_Living_Room.sendCommand(percent)
if (percent > 0) {
percent = percent - 5
fade_Timer.reeschedule(now.plusMillis(500))
}
]
}
end
