Getting H801 RGBW to work with OpenHab over mqtt im having a mare

Hi all,

So im relatively new to openhab and the jiust of my project is i need oH to control 3 seperate H801 RGBW controllers colour wheels for the rgb and dimmer for the single white.

I have been through every setup i can find, espeasy, espurna tasmota even some individual .bin builds and i cant find any decent information on anyone that has actually got these to work.

Has anyone had any joy getting these controllers to work in oh with color selection? ive read every topic and my eyes are burning i just need someone who has done it and can point me in the right direction.

I have 3 of these devices working like a charm with Espurna. I might be able to help, but I don’t really know where you got stuck based on your post.

have you flashed the original espurna with no modifications?

I have not, always built it myself. I think it’s actually easier to build it yourself using VSCode and PlatformIO. The H801 boards have a profile in the code already, so easy enough to build it for that board.
