Thanks for the link! I have reviewed my system - it has no /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/openhab.service and no /etc/openhab/linux.parameters file… But the EXTRA_JAVA_OPTS were overwritten again in the newest update to 5.1.2.
