unfortunately the Google Api does not work with Nest Protect at the moment, no one knows if this will be possible in the future.
I find this for Apple Homekit

This only works with apple homekit, but the api probably doesn’t matter
Is it possible to build on this technology and connect Nest Protect with Openhab?
