Or more less tolerance in OH3 and laziness previously on my part.
Previously I defined a group as a group then added that on a sitemap as a switch and the icon would change depending on the state eg light on light off.
OH3 it seems needs a group to be a switch rather than just a group.
Just sharing if anyone else has a problem.
