Yes I understand that the log refers to your SPF inverter. However you said “it is not the power of my solar power plant but the power of my four inverters (4X5Kw)” – which implies that you have at least four (maybe five) Growatt devices in your system. So I would like to see the log data for those other devices which are NOT SPF…
I have 4 SPF5000ES.
Three are connected to a three-phase system that powers the entire house; one is on the first ph as a single-phase system within this 3ph system and powers the utility room where I have a washing machine and dryer, air conditioning connection and an oil burner with pumps for central heating.
On the 3ph part I have a 30KWh batt (3XCFE 10H), and on the 1ph part
10KWh (growatt ARK 2.5-A1 X 4).
1ph - when charged - disconnects from 3ph and operates independently until it is discharged. PV panels are connected to both systems, namely:
1ph - 5X410w in the south direction and 6x250W in the west direction
3ph - 2 strings 10X440W both in the west direction.
so I need an OH to automate all this.
It’s all DIY because it’s always been my hobby.
Ok. If you look at the PR (see link in my prior post) you will find a link to download the new Jar of the binding for testing. Please let me know if everything now works for you.
As you know, most of the channels in the biding are read only. However there are a few Thing Action commands for commanding the inverter mode (see read me for information). These action commands have been explicitly tested on SPH, MIN, and MAX inverters, but not (yet) on SPF. So it may be that these actions don’t yet work for you. However I am more than willing to adapt or extend the actions in order to support SPF too. So long as you are willing to provide me with debugging and test information. Please let me know. If you prefer it, we can do this in a second step once we have got all the read only channels working correctly.
I have a problem due to lack of knowledge about manual installation of bindings.
I removed 4.2.2 growatt binding via UI;
copied org.openhab.binding.growatt-4.3.0-SNAPSHOT.jar to openHAB\addons
I did not restart OH.
Do I have to install the 4.3.0-SNAPSHOT version?
I’m stuck here (I’m reading the instructions intensively)…
What you have done is absolutely correct. Is there some problem? You should basically see the same thing and channels as before, but a) including battery SOC, b) proper battery voltage, and c) some previously not available channels now being shown…
So the PR has been released for review, and I guess it will be in the next OH 4.3 Milestone resp. the 4.3 release version. One minor note for you: my new code added some extra channels named bat-xyz which the reviewer asked to name as battery-xyz. This means that the Jar which you are currently using will work with the former channel names, but when you upgrade to an official release you will need to re-link your items to the new channel names.
