Help ! I installed Amanda backup and it changed fs owner to "backup"

I installed Amanda backup through the 'sudo openhabian-config" console. Then I went to do a sudo nano edit and it gives me an error

sudo: /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set

When I looked at the permissions on /usr I get everything owned by ‘backup’ user

Strange. I guess you somehow entered /usr as your storage area, maybe an accidental whitespace.
I’m afraid but that messed up your system. The only safe option probably is to reinstall.

pretty sure it was caused by the openhabian-config install of Amanda…it’s not just the /usr directory it seems to be every directory…
