Does anyone have an example of how to get reolink doorbell rtsp stream onto a sitemap and setup via .things and .sitemap (I prefer this for backup purposes).
I don’t know anything about the Reolink add-on so can’t help with that part. But I can say that you will almost certainly need to use Items. One of the Channels will be an Image URL Item. Link that to a String Item and then you can use that Item with an Image element on your sitemap.
Note, from a backup perspective, the only difference between using .things files et. al. and configuring through the UI is the location of the plain text files that need to be backed up. Using openhab-cli backup captures both. There are lots of reasons to prefer text file based configs but backup and restore by itsel because it’s the same for both.
