I installed with the apt-get method. 1.8
I see openhab service is running. port 8080 is not open and I cant browse the sitemap. can anyone please advise?
You need to install all the demo stuff or create a sitemap of your own in order to see anything. Start with the demo realizing you’ll likely install again if you’re very new to it.
I copied all the demo stuff over to the directories. I’m getting a connection refused message
Do you have any errors in the openhab.log file? There could already be something running on 8080, 8443, or 5555 preventing OH from starting.
Does systemctl status openhab.service show openHAB is running?
