Hide items on site map if thing is offline?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering, is there a way to hide an item on the sitemap based on a thing? I have some device that I only used during special time like winter and such. For now, everytime, I just edit the sitemap and comment/uncomment these stuff from the sitemap. But in things, I see they are offline and I was wondering, is there a way to make a rule in the sitemap based on the thing status?

For now, what I did is create an item thing_status that is updated by a custom rule and the visibility in sitemap is based of this item. But it would be even better if I could just use the thing status directly in the sitemap rule.

You can use a proxy item which can be set to on if thing is online and use visibility option according to that items state.

Yeah that’s what I’m doing for now, but I was wondering if it was possible or planned to be able to use thing in sitemap rules which would simply stuff.
