Could you maybe try adding a dummy item to bridge 2 to see if the problem appears on your side as well?
i am running out of ideas there … thank you!
regarding 5.0 snapshot - have you disabled “listen to network interface” via UI → homekit as on screenshot above?
by default, listen to network changes is enabled so that fix is not active.
i have also tried with multiple bridges on my side - running since 3 days without issues. but i have it not on Synology NAS / Docker but native on debian
@April_Wexler, I’m reviewing the PR and considering closing it without merging, but I’d like your input first. My thinking:
- We’re still waiting on your confirmation and/or logs, so it’s possible the issue disappeared before the fix was fully tested.
- No other users have reported this issue, which may indicate it’s specific to your environment.
- The proposed fix seems to address the symptoms rather than the underlying cause. It could improve the experience, but resolving the root problem would be ideal.
Could you confirm whether the issue still occurs on your side? That would help us decide the best next step.
Thanks for follow up.
Indeed - the error disappeared - I have no idea why. As always in IT: I did not change anything.
Sorry that I missed to inform you.
No problem, thanks for letting us know.
