Hi there, I just ordered a starter set homematic IP for temperature control. now I read that there is a major difference between homematic and homematic IP. are there bindings for homematic IP so I can use OH for controlling the homematic ip components?

The binding is the same, you have to be careful to select the right CCU - see also binding documentation Homematic - Bindings | openHAB
