I would like to buy a HmIP-MIO16-PCB device.
Does anyone know if it is supported by the homematic binding?
Generally the binding can support all Homematic devices. It “asks” the CCU for the specifications (i.e. the data points) of each connected device and then creates things and channels from this information.
Some devices require some special treatment and therefore the binding contains some additional coding for these devices.
I would assume that this device will work with the binding but it is possible that the binding needs some adjustments or additional coding to support all features.
I don’t know whether somebody is already using this device with openHAB.
