How do I upgrade from a snapshot version to stable version?

Hi,

I’m on a snapshot version of openHAB 3.3.0 on Windows. When I run the update script to install the final 3.3.0 release it says, that I’m already on 3.3.0 and it can’t update, instead it would reinstall 3.3.0. Does this means, that a clean installation will be made and all data is lost?

So how do I update to the stable version which was released a few days ago?

I used the update script to install the snapshot version over a milestone version.

After looking throw the whole update script I found out that it is possible to update from snapshot to stable version without loosing data. The warning message which was prompt is just a little bit unclear, cause it says “reinstall” but in this case the update script also makes a backup and keeps the user data.
