How do you manage configuration?

Hi,

I wonder how you manage OH2 configuration?

I like config files because they are readable, easy to backup, control and you can even have them versioned. But with OH2 all configurations done in PaperUI/WebUI goes to somewhere else; database in ./userdata ?!

Since OH2 have its ./conf it is just confusing…why cannot PaperUI store the config in the ./conf directories in a readable format.

So I like text config files but also like PaperUI and web based config; why not share the same storage?
