How test a beta version of addon binding?

If the beta version is available in the eclipse market place install that version by enabling market place. Otherwise make sure you have the latest version and drop in the jar file in the addons folder. That will install the binding. If it’s a beta for an existing binding you already have installed, make sure to uninstall that binding first.
