Trying out the proper syntax is a failure to define clear rules and standards. Why are there not rules that everyone should follow? One of many problems why such projects have little success on the market. Sorry

Please don’t misunderstand me. I enjoy working with OpenHab very much. Everything is based on text files that I can customize quickly and easily. They are also easy to backup.
PaperUI is too cumbersome and slow for large environments. Far away from an easy to use user interface.
A few days ago I installed my test system to test the new OpenHab 2.5. At the same time I started a second attempt to do everything with PaperUI. I started with the Zigbee binding. Here I see the first problems coming up. I have things but no items, etc…
But I like to be taught a better one and I also like to learn more. My goal is to use OpenhHab as an umbrella to control the different systems like HUE, Ikea, Shelly, etc. The potential is there, the way to the goal difficult
