Hi i have my openhab in my raspberry with openhabian and visual code in windows 10. I already have openHAB-conf as a network unit with drive letter V: and in visual code i configure openhab to connect to my server and i can see all the thins and item create with paperui. But in the openhab plugin iu can’t edit anything. When I double click any files i recibe message like no editor is active, also i can’t see any \*.item file that i create. On the other side i load as a workspace letter V: with all files form the server. But there isn’t any especial function activate.
This is what I put in settings.jason:

> {
> “openhab.host”: “192.168.3.142”,
> “openhab.port”: 8080,
> “openhab.sitemapPreviewUI”: “classicui”,
> “workbench.iconTheme”: “openhab”,
> “explorer.confirmDelete”: false
> }

What I’m missing?

Not entirely sure what you mean, because the editing of the files is not facilitated by the OH plugin, but by having access to the files on the Pi from your W10 (via a share). Can you access the files from Windows Explorer and open them, for instance in Notepad?

What is the _exact_ message when you double-click a file in the file tree of VS Code?
