How to exclude broken z-wave device from controller

can anyone tell me how to exclude a broken z-wave device from controller? I cannot use normal exclude procedure because device is broken. Just deleting device does not help, it comes back all the time.

Try to set the device to failed through advanced options in HABmin, then remove it from the controller.

Thank you for the hint. But both tools does not recognize my z-wave stick “AEOTEC Z-Stick Gen5”.

Any other idea?

found the problem by myself. I have to stop OH to have access with these tools to the device.
