Hi , I need Help in how to set location of things with openhab2 using rest api not through paper ui

Install the REST API Docs (in the Misc tab of PaperUI). It will show up as a UI when you go to the OH welcome page.

It is fully interactive, all the REST calls are present and you can experiment with them.

The section you want is /things/{thingUID}/config
