Hue lights - color temperatur and normal temperatur - two different modes of interaction?

I noted my Hue RGBW lights (osram bulbs and flex Led) seems to have a color temperatur mode and a color mode, when I click around in Papar IU.

Are they connected in some way or two different way to interact with the light?
