InfluxDB Persistence needs to be reinstalled after restart

    • OS: Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
    • Java Runtime Environment: OpenJDK Runtime Environment Zulu11.56+19-CA
    • openHAB version:
  • Issue of the topic:
    I use influxDB Persistence for Storing some values. it*'s not the default Persistence. After restarting openHAB I always need to reinstall the Persistence.
    I have tried to configute it on the GUI aswell in a file in the folder /services
    What can I do so openHAB recognice the Persistence and load the last values?

If you’ve edited $OH_CONF/services/addons.cfg you must only use addons.cfg to control which add-ons get installed or removed. That file will override anything you do in the UI. So first you need to decide how you want to install your add-ons.

If you want to do it through the UI then you need to remove the contents of addons.cfg and probably restart OH. then reinstall all your add-ons through the UI.

If you want to do it through addons.cfg, post the contents of that file here. Make sure that all the add-ons you want to use are included.

I decidet to do it over the UI so my addons.cfg has nothing in it. even the line package is commented out
