Initializing of persistence

Hello guys,
Is it still nessecary to do a workaround to use persistence dependent items in logics to be sure that persistence is initialized before a rule is executed - it has OH2 come with a smarter solution?

I cannot answer this definitively but from looking at the logs from the last few restarts of OH 2 I notice that all of the .items files are loaded first, followed by .persist files, and only then are the .rules files loaded. From this I would say the answer is yes, it is fixed in OH 2 and there is no additional work necessary to make sure persistence is available before rules start running.

Thanks Rich - that’s also what I’ve seen, but wondered if that just was a lucky shot… But when you say the same I think it’s ok
