Input field functionality for openHAB iOS App

Hello,
I’ve created an input field (via new OH 4.0 funcionality) on my sidemap, to be able to enter some text that should appear on a LED display (via MQTT).

Entering text for this text item is possible via Basic UI and openHAB Android App, but not via openHAB IOS App.

When will this functionality also be available for iOS openHAB app?

There is an issue open for this: Support input element in sitemaps. · Issue #726 · openhab/openhab-ios · GitHub

Someone needs to pick up the development for it. I am not able to do iOS development myself.
