I’m just starting with OpenHAB. The first thing I want to do is to interface a DS18B20 temperature sensor to the system and log its readings. I am running in Windows 8.1, and have a DS9490R USB-to-Onewire dongle. I understand that in order to talk to onewire devices I need to install OWSERVER. I have no idea how to do this. Is there a Windows installer, or a downloadable executable for OWSERVER? Where? Or do I really have to recompile the whole thing? If so I am going to need blow-by-blow instructions on how to do so. I hope someone can give me some advice to help me get over this hurdle, so I can actually do something useful with OpenHAB.
