I’m looking at using something to allow direct control of my DMX led lights without having to resort to a web UI. The insteon mini remote seems to be one of the few devices out there that seems likely to meet requirements. Unfortunately, this means having to invest in either an Insteon hub or plm so that I can start integrating it with openhab.
Before I take the plunge and commit to insteon I’d appreciate the groups feedback on whether this is likely to meet my needs along with other alternatives I could investigate.
My needs are pretty simple really. The main use case will be for DMX controlled spotlights over the sofa (basic switch function) along with DMX controlled main lights (dimmer).
