Interface for wired door and windows sensors

Hello everybody,

i’m looking for a solution to connect wired door and window sensors to openhab. I currently use Z-Wave and IP network as an interface to openhab. Approx. 100 inputs are required, so please no solutions for only a few inputs.

Have you considered a multi IO board that uses the I2C binding?

(This is just an idea, based on a Google search for “24 channel Multi IO”)

Have you found an interface for the window sensors?

I use a Pokeys57e. Has 57 inputs, Ethernet and modbus so it works with openhab. . Fairly inexpensive.
