# Introducing tedee Smartlock binding

Hi there,  
i had formerly integrated my tedee locks via html scripts and direct calls to the cloud api.

Now, with the help of AI (sorry not a native programmer) I have arranged a binding, currently against my 4.3.5 openhab setup.

Whats in it:

Local access to Bridge with webhooks and fallback to polling, with encrypted API token  
Cloud access to the lock (only polling supported by design of tedee), with Personal Access Key

Support for bridge and lock  
(i do not have access to keypad or door sensor)

Lock/Unlock/Soft Unlock  
Charging indicator  
Battery level  
Settings indicators
