you say that you already know some python and java so why not use that knowledge.

Simplified Jython rule definition (similar to Rules DSL) using a universal decorator

I’ve pushed a major update to the openhab-scripters repo, with a number of changes to the openhab.triggers module, openhab.rules module, and updated the documentation.
