Is there a step by step tutorial on weather binding for version 2

Im using raspberry pi3.

Ive tried the various weather.cfg setups, and for some reason. I dont get anything in the log file about connecting to the weather api.

there are a few bits of information out there for the earlier version, but im finding it very difficult to ensure im doing everything correct, as there is no full step by step instruction guide for openhab2.
From what tutorials i have seen, they say its only for openhab < 2.0.

Any help?

Please read something in the docs. You must install (=activate) bindings before you can configure them in cfg-files or in PaperUI depending on the weather-binding.
