[SOLVED] Issue with item not updating (zwave)

Hi folks,

I’ve a strange issue here (OH 1415)

this is the item:

Number Fibaro_Boiler_MeteredWallPlug_SensorPower "Power in real-time [%.1f W]" (gFF_TechRoom, gPowerMeters, gIPowerRealTime, gChart, gHistory)

I’m seeing some updates with zwave debug:

So the item value is going between “1.7” and “2.1”.
But via REST the value of the item is always “2”.

I’ve tried to switch of and turn on the power plug, the value is still 2 (even if the plug is OFF)
I’ve also forced the connected household-device to start a program, value is still “2”
I’ve also rebooted the virtual machine.

what can I do?

Thanks
Andrea

See here.

It’s fixed in 1417.

revert to 1413, but same issue.
The previous backup is 1364. Let me check but first look I have same issue :frowning:

edit: negative, 1364 is working good

Are you certain? Did you try build 1417?

The issue with the log you posted is that there’s no log statement indicating that the binding is updating the channel. This is the exact signature of the issue I linked to above.

is 1417 already available for opehabian? let me check …

Not sure, but you can try updating just the zwave binding using this console command. I think this will work with openhabian.

bundle:update org.openhab.binding.zwave https://openhab.jfrog.io/openhab/online-repo-snapshot/2.4/org/openhab/binding/org.openhab.binding.zwave/2.4.0-SNAPSHOT/org.openhab.binding.zwave-2.4.0-SNAPSHOT.jar

solved with 1417
