Heh, yup, I’ve got the same problem. Diffing against what apt would have installed, these new lines look very important: <Logger level="ERROR" name="openhab.event.ItemStateUpdatedEvent"/> <Logger level="ERROR" name="openhab.event.GroupStateUpdatedEvent"/> Adding them manually fixed it.

After adding these lines manually to /var/lib/openhab/etc/log4j2.xml, the log viewer isn’t showing every update, only the changes.
