Items config when using PaperUI?

Hi,

I am used to config my home.items file from openhab 1 but I really like to configure openhab2 through PaperUI because it´s easy and gives you quick results. But I wonder where PaperUI saves the settings. I can´t find newly added items through PaperUI in my home.items file and therefore I cannot e.g. edit the items position on the website. Any hint you can give me how I can combine PaperUI configuration and my manual entries in my home.items file?

Hey John,
PaperUI doesnt support .items, created items are saved at /var/lib/openhab2/jsondb in its own format. You either use PaperUI for an item, or creat it on your own in an .items file.
