I’ve traditionally used HABmin to configure my items but since it’s missing Groups right now, I thought I used PaperUI last weekend but now I don’t see Items listed in PaperUI. Do I have a faulty memory or did something change in the last couple of builds?

They are only available if you disable the simple mode. Do a refresh of your Paper UI afterwards and you will find a new entry “Configuration->Items”.
