I have successfully integrated openhab with kafka for persistence of item state. Please let me know if this seems to be interesting to anyone. and also let me know if anyone having similar kind of requirement.

This looks very interesting. I think it would be great to issue a PR to include this with the standard distro. I don’t think the IoT Marketplace is taking persistence addons yet. But if I’m wrong, that is a goo place to post it.
At a minimum please post a link here so others can download and try it out.
