Dear Sir or Madam,

please help me,
my KNX PrimaryLine 0.0.1 in the house works just fine, but
my KNX SecondaryLine 1.1.1 in the garage works not at all.

The two lines are connected with a “Koppler 7111 by Merten” this enabels the KNX-Swiches in the house to shut off the lights in the garage. but not in Openhab.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, liebes Forum,

ich bitte um Hilfe bei meinem Vorhaben ein Licht über KNX in der Garage zu schalten.
Im Haus funktioniert alles super, aber auf die Garage habe ich keinen Zugriff.

Meine Hauptline hat Hardware Adressen 0.0.1 …und so weiter.
Meine Garagenline hat Hardware Adressen 1.1.1 …und so weiter.

Dazwischen hängt ein Koppler 7111 von Merten, ich kann (schon immer) von der Hauslinie in der Garage die Lichter ausmachen, aber nicht in Openhab

Wahrscheinlich liegt die Nichtfunktion daran, dass ich schon sehr Alt bin, bitte helfen Sie mir über die Straße. :wink:

Assumption topology of the KNX system:
Line 0.0.xxx with the switches and a line coupler to line 1.1
Line 1.1.yyy with actuators for the lights in the garage.

Does everything work as it should?

Connection to openHAB not mentioned. Is there an IP Gateway?
OpenHAB does not know anything about the topology. OpenHAB uses the group addresses x/y/z defined in ETS (not the hardware addresses 0.0.xxx and 1.1.yyy). Every address is passed through the gateway and processed by the KNX system.

If the KNX system is working and the gateway is functional, then openHAB should be able to control the lights.
