Limit openHAB Cloud access

Hi,

I used to run the Hue Emulation to connect my Amazon Echo to OpenHAB items, but due to technical reasons I can’t do so any more. As a replacement, I was looking into “openHAB Cloud”.

But if I read this correctly it is mandatory to expose the full GUI, PaperUI, Basic and everything to the cloud service. This is not something I want to do.

Is it possible to limit cloud access to the handfull items that I actually want to control through Amazon Echo? Can I block access to the local GUI via the cloud service?

Regards

No. The Cloud Connector binding creates a proxy to OH’s REST API through myopenhab.org. You can control which of your Items get exposed to third-party services like Alexa and IFTTT. But the REST API is all or nothing.

Thank you.
