This new smart object can be used as an IFTTT trigger and a crowdfunding campaign will soon be launched!
Depending on the price this could be a decent option to use for door and window sensors. I agree, this is something to keep an eye on.
Some outstanding questions though:
- does it know when it has been returned to its original position or does it just treat that as another displacement?
- do we have to go through IFTTT?
- battery life and replacability?
- can we get how far it has been displaced?
