Lost SSH login and password

Hi all,

I try to login to my openhabian with putty, but I forgot my login details. They are not the same as the one I use for my Openhabian WEBUI right? openhabian-openhabian does also not work.
I also thought there was a way to switch of and on SSH access within the WEBUI, but maybe i’m wrong as I cannot find it.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

Not necessarily.

Note, I assume you are referring to the openHAB web UI. openHABian doesn’t have a web ui.

No and there never has been. I think there is a way to do that from openhabian-config perhaps. But that isn’t going to do anything for you. ssh doesn’t control the log in password. I believe the default is openhabian:openhabian but you should changed it during setup.

Thanks for your reply Rich,

I had to reboot the raspberry pi and therefore wanted to login with SSH as I had an issue with one of my Fibaro Zwave switches. I now rebooted by pulling and reinstating the powerplug
The Fibaro Switch is working again, but I should do better if I could SSH into my raspberry pi and do my upgrades etc.
Thanks for the link. I will look into that
